Debra Oakland is the founder of Living in Courage Online – A Spiritual Oasis for Overcoming Life’s Biggest Challenges.

Debra’s story and passion to teach others how to live a life in courage, has been featured in major media outlets including radio, magazines, and best-selling books.

Debra lives in Laguna Beach California with her husband and best-friend, Cody.

During today's show we had a conversation about why Debra was inspired to write her book Change Your Movie, Change Your Life.

Live Your Music – Interview with Jack Foster III 01/20/16

Hello Everyone,

Jack Foster III was my guest for Live Your Music today! We had fun talking about how he is living his music with his new album JazzRapt, touring with December People, recording with Robert Berry, and playing live performances with other Bay Area bands. I also played a fun song from his new album during the show and we talked and laughed about it.

Jack Foster III has a degree in music composition and theory from Middlebury College in Vermont. He currently plays in several San Francisco Bay Area bands including DreamCycle, The ShowBiz Kidz, Carolina Sunset, and a seasonal holiday band called December People, which plays holiday classics — in the style of various Classic Rock bands.

Jack says he has always been a genre bender, but his latest album covers new terrain. Though still retaining a rock-pop sensibility, JazzRapt moves Jack’s music towards the jazz side of the jazz-rock fusion spectrum.

My husband, Dudley, and I love the illustration on the cover of JazzRapt, Jack's 6th album, partly because it's drawn Phil Frank who was a treasured friend of ours. Jack and I didn't have time to talk about the cover art on the show today so I wanted to mention it here. It's a wonderful, playful, colorful illustration of a band of raptors playing together.

The cover art shows Jack's sense of humor – which is also apparent in the song I played during the show today. The title of the song is Your Purse. As Jack pointed out, it is how men feel when we ask them to hold a purse for us. I love the song! You can hear it during the show and also hear it by clicking here for the JazzRapt album.

Cristi Earnshaw, has had the gift of intuitively reading the energy of people's personal items, in their home, since she was six years old.

She believes that personal items that do not carry Love Energy are considered clutter and can be blocking New Abundance from coming into people's lives. She specializes in helping her clients raise the Love Energy in their homes to make it easier to welcome their new good.

Cristi discusses intentions, and provides unique tools to instantly raise the energy in the homes or offices of her clients. She is a firm believer that everything a person owns is an extension of their energy. This is why it's so important to ONLY have the Highest Energy items in your environment.

Cristi has had her business for over 10 years and has worked in over 600 homes. She works both locally and internationally with Skype and can do in person sessions if you're in her area.

During the show Cristi and I talked about the importance of releasing the energy of guilt by releasing unloved items. By clearing out energies of guilt and fear, it lifts you to a higher love vibration which attracts more abundance into your life.

You'll hear Cristi's stories about clients receiving new abundance after working with her and why she has created some new services for those who are afraid to ask for her help because of concerns about money or time.

As Cristi said during the show, everything is energy and holding on to things that have "guilt" energy can block your flow of abundance in a variety of ways.

She told some inspiring stories about what can happen after an Abundance Whispering session. We also talked about what happened after I had a session with her in August 2015. The results were amazing and I love how I feel now because of what she's inspired me to believe and do. Talking with Cristi has radically changed – forever – how I think about clutter!

Cristi and I had an inspiring conversation today! We talked about ways to attract more abundance into your life. Abundance can include finding money, attracting more joy into your life, feeling happiness in your home, attracting more clients, getting a new job, and also enjoying new relationships in your life.

Talking with Cristi today was inspiring. She is a woman who truly cares about people and wants the best for all of her clients and friends. I've met her in person and this is the third time she's been a guest on my show. Elizabeth Hamilton-Guarino is the author of an inspiring Hay House book titled Percolate… Let Your Best Self Filter Through. I've read her book and I recommend reading it. She's authentic, lovable, fun, and unique. I like how she talks about "Letting Your Best Self Filter Through" and compares life to percolating your coffee.

Elizabeth lives life with allergies to peanuts, tree nuts, fish, and shellfish. In 1998, she nearly lost her life due to an allergic reaction to almonds and then in 1999, she had a second near-fatal allergic reaction while pregnant and was hospitalized for more than a week.

Elizabeth understands firsthand the challenges life can bring and has worked with thousands across the globe to illuminate their light within and help them live their best life.

In 2008, Elizabeth left a 17 year career in the financial services industry to start The Best Ever You Network, which is now a leading multimedia provider of lifestyle and self-help content.

Elizabeth has a degree in communications and broadcasting; is a life coach, food-allergy expert, and anaphylaxis survivor; and she hosts The Best Ever You Show on blog talk radio.

We had a wonderful 30 minute conversation about ways to help you have a "Best Ever Year" in 2016. Our talk today included some of the topics in a blog article written by Elizabeth. The title of the article is Practice Abundance – Create and Live Your Best Life in 2016. You can read her article by clicking on the title.

"Practice Abundance" by taking the time to notice and appreciate all that you have in your life as Elizabeth suggested during the show.

At this time of year many people get focused on all of the things they didn't do during the last year and also things that they feel they "should" have done.

But, as Elizabeth said, what can be more motivating is to focus on WHY you want create your desired outcome. What will you see? What will you hear? How good will you feel?

One of the things I love to do is create a list of "25+ Things I'm Glad I Did Last Year" for the year that just ended. I've noticed that by creating my list, it reminds me of things I did that helped me enjoy how I used my gift of time and it also motivates me to start thinking about things I'd love to put on my list for this year and why I'm inspired to do it.

What are you glad you did last year? What would you love to do this year? What would you let yourself try doing if you knew you'd feel good just by giving it a try? I'd love to hear what you decide to try doing this year!

One of the things I'm glad I did last year is to host my radio show Live Your Music. I've greatly enjoyed talking with each of my guests about how they are living the "music" they hear calling them. Seeing the list of shows does inspire me to keep hosting my show!
