Diana Toma is an award winning Romanian visual artist currently teaching and creating in Atlanta, Georgia. Diana's teaching approach focuses on fast, free-flowing painting release, and helps create creative un-blockage.
Diana's work reaches beyond the boundaries of art galleries, her art being commissioned and featured in unconventional places, such as at live events, on billboards, poetry magazines, with the most notorious one being a clothing line featuring her artwork, commissioned by and for the US Open Tennis Championship.

Diana is often invited to speak on open panels representing the working artist, the most recent appearances being at the The Mayors Office of Cultural Affairs and the The Contemporary Museum in Atlanta, Georgia.
Diana is also seen as an esteemed professional authority, often being invited to judge and jury art shows.
Today Diana talked about what it's like to take her art classes and she told me that she likes to create a safe and loving place for her students to learn to paint. She told us what it means to do intuitive painting. She also talked about where she currently teaches and how she is planning to do classes in a variety of locations so more people can benefit from taking a class with her!
I love how Diana talks about learning to paint. She works with her students in a non-threatening environment and through her instruction, helps them believe they can learn to paint. The photos of her art class makes it look like fun and that is because Diana likes her students to have fun while they are learning. The more fun you have, the more you can learn because you're open and willing to just give it a try.
Have you taken any art classes? Would you like to take a class with Diana Toma? She spoke of using Skype for art classes and that could be the first step. I have to say that I am curious what it would be like to take a class with her! I wish my teachers in college had been as inspiring as her and had made the classes so much fun!
Last time Diana was on my show, she posted some of her students' paintings on her Facebook page. The paintings were amazing and blew me away.

We had a wonderful 30 minute conversation about creativity, art, and how to believe in your ability to un-block your creativity.
Diana's mission is to move, touch, and inspire people through being authentic. Her art moves me, touches my heart, and inspires me and I greatly enjoyed having her as my guest for Live Your Music both times. If you missed my first interview with Diana Toma on 11/11/15, you can hear it by clicking here.
Hearing Diana Toma's story during the first interview was very inspiring. You can listen to it first or you can listen to it after today's show by clicking on the link above.
As I've said before, one of my main intentions with my show is to give you lots of ideas for ways you can live your music and enjoy your life. While you are listening to my conversation with Diana Toma, I hope you'll feel inspired to try some new things – to expand your mind and just for the fun of it.
What would you let yourself do if you knew you'd feel good just by giving it a try? I'd love to hear what you decide to try doing after listening to this show!
