Live Your Music News 11/30/16
Hello Everyone,
It was great fun having my brother, Duane Brovan, as my guest for Live Your Music!
Do you want to know how to take better pictures? Do you feel confused about what camera would be best for you? Have you been wondering if it's time to get a camera instead of always using your smart phone to take pictures?
During the show we talked about answers to these questions. Duane has had a passion for digital photography since the year 2000 and he loves to help people get the equipment that is right for them. Duane is also the creator of a really cool new Photographer's Pocket Guide that we talked about during the show.

Duane has had an interest in photography for most of his life and when digital cameras began to be used in the late 1990s he became fully committed. As different companies started producing digital cameras he kept up with all the developments and had a knack for finding the "leading edge" products in the industry. Since then he's worked for DeNador Design & Photography shooting hotels for marketing purposes as well as working for brokers in residential real estate.
In addition to being a commercial photographer specializing in architectural photos he began a company as a sports photographer shooting local teams. He also owned a portrait studio and photo training center in Shingletown, CA.

Duane is also the owner of a photography business called Great Perspective Photography in which he strives to educate photographers wishing to improve their craft through his knowledge, classes and tips for the best camera settings in his Photographer's Pocket Guide. Duane is also working at Crown Camera in Redding, California and is currently their assistant manager. Duane's intention is to help photographers take better pictures through purchasing the proper equipment and by helping them learn how to get the most out of it.

Duane has published a convenient, easy to understand Photographer's Pocket Guide that illustrates how to use the basic camera settings which gives photographers the information on how to take control of their cameras and create their own works of art. The guide opens up to show a wonderful array of information all in one place and folds to a size you can fit in your pocket, purse, or camera bag.

I hope you'll listen to the show to find out more about why he created the Photographer's Pocket Guide and why you'll want to get at least one of the guides for yourself! They are also great to put in Christmas stockings or for Hanukkah gifts to go with gifts of cameras or smart phones. To find out how to order them, send an email to Duane: [email protected]

I hope you'll take some time to listen to this interview with Duane. During the last 20 minutes of the show we took questions from a couple of callers and it was great to hear Duane converse with them.
This was my second time doing a longer show and having callers ask questions and talk with my guest and we all enjoyed it! I am looking forward to doing more of these longer shows where I can have guests call in to ask questions during the last 20-25 minutes.
